Help grow the case for safer scheduling, staffing, and support for pregnant nurses

The Nurses' Experiences of Stress Throughout Pregnancy Study is being offered by the MuMH Lab at the University of Arizona.

Why are we doing this study?

    • Many pregnant nurses continue working through long shifts, physically demanding tasks, and emotionally difficult patient care.
    • We still don't fully understand how this stress pattern unfolds across pregnancy, or what it means for a nurses' heart and mental health.
    • Some workplace factors, like schedule flexibility or support from coworkers and leadership, can make a difference.

    What we are asking?

    • Wear a smart ring daily
    • Answer questions from your phone daily
    • Measure your blood pressure at home
    • If you choose, participate in an interview after giving birth

You may be eligible if you:

    • + less than 15 weeks pregnant
    • + are a registered licensed nurse working at least 30 hours/week in a hospital setting
    • + plan to return to nursing work postpartum
    • + meet some additional criteria based your pregnancy and health history

    What else should you know?

You could earn up to $400 OR keep the study devices for tracking wellness

    • + Use a smart ring to get personalized insights into your sleep quality, activity levels, and other metrics to optimize your overall well-being
