Birth and blood loss: an epigenetic perspective on oxytocin use during labor

While interest in the epigenetic regulation of oxytocin function is growing in many fields of science; little is known about how pharmacologic oxytocin administration, a common medical intervention during childbirth, may be influenced by a person's epigenetic pattern.
